Motivational effects on employee performance in organizations

Motivation is described as the internal and external driving factors that enable an individual to accomplish certain tasks and attain specific goals. It is the psychological component of a person's conduct that motivates, maintains, and dictates it. [Duică, 2008: 142] Formalized paraphrase Incentives are frequently used by organizations to motivate their staff.

How does personnel motivation affect a company's success?

An employee with a high level of motivation seeks to self-improve, work hard on its skills, and update knowledge. He is constantly improving his qualifications, which means that it performs better than the others.

However, motivation and activism cannot be considered as similar phenomena. Achieving a task successfully is not only motivation but also other factors. People are motivated but cannot perform if they do not have the skills to do the job. Motivation and skills are equally important. More and more means there is a higher motivation to earn from people by increasing capacity.

Different types of Motivation

Intrinsic motivation:   A person is motivated by inner desires and is satisfied with internal rewards is Innate motivation.

External motivation:  External motivation, is motivation that is driven by external desires or external consequences. This is an external incentive since it originates from somewhere else.

Incentive Motivation: Employees utilize reward based motivation when employee know they will be rewarded after completing a goal.

Fear-based motivation: Anyone involved in establishing and accomplishing objectives understands the importance of responsibility in reaching goals. The fear of failure or disappointing others is at the core of motivation.

Motivation based on success: Users meet the drive to focus on the benefits that follow a goal, whereas users meet the motivation to achieve a goal with a sense of success and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.

Power Based Motivation: Power-based motivation is the desire to empower people in order to gain more control, typically via the utilization of positions in a work or organization.

Skills Motivation: Skills Motivation is the motivation to help others move forward and become more competent and improve their skills in a particular area. This kind of motivation is especially helpful in learning new skills and finding ways to overcome the obstacles one faces in various aspects of life.

Attitude motivation: Those who are desperate to change the way they see the world around them and the way they see it, is called attitude motivation. Goal attitudes related to self-awareness and self-change will be met with motivation

Conclusion,

Rewards have an impact on the company's different factors, particularly work satisfaction. The turn has an impact on employee loyalty and dedication to an organization's aims. Increased employee performance is also a result of job satisfaction, which pushes the workforce to keep moving forward. Exceeds the agreed-upon job count.

If employees were positively motivated and rewarded, it would increase both their potential and productivity to enhance organizational performance.

Motivated employees play important role in the customer perception about the company. Company spend huge amount of money to gain customer loyalty but they forget the Employees motivation. Customer interact with the employees and also carry out company image in their mind through the behavior and attitude displayed by the employees.     Employee motivation is the psychological process that gets them going, keeps them going, and determines the direction and strength of the effort they put forth. It is what causes them to pause and redirect their efforts elsewhere. Employees are primarily motivated by the jobs they perform and the context in which they perform them. Performance is possible if there is motivation. Employees' personal outcomes are influenced by motivation and performance. When employee outcomes are aggregated, they lead to organizational outcomes such as turnover and profit.
